Pompano Beach Community Park Water Feature Project

The City of Pompano Beach will commission an artist/artist team to design, fabricate, and install a major outdoor sculpture with a water feature to be placed at Pompano Community Park. Pompano Community Park also contains the Aquatics Center which is home to an Olympic sized pool with two one-meter springs boards. The project is open to all professional artists nationwide. The total budget for this project is $150,000. The artwork budget will be $147,000; $3,000 will used to fund shortlisted artists’ designs. Fees, including all insurance, taxes, permits, delivery, interior lighting, installation and engineering will be included in the overall fee. For more information and to apply, please visit:

Traffic Signal Box Wraps Round 3

BUDGET: $200 for each design per Traffic Box

DEADLINE: October 15th, 2019

The City of Pompano Beach will wrap digital versions of artworks on traffic signal boxes located throughout the City. The goal of the program is to add an attractive and creative touch along our corridors by transforming a traffic signal box into a piece of art. This is the third round to a project started in 2015. This beautification effort will enhance the experience of all those visiting the corridors and will help to prevent vandalizing of boxes. Site visits are encouraged but not required.
